The dove release is usually placed after the ceremony, just after the officiant's presentation of the couple.

Legend holds that if doves appear on the wedding day, a happy home shall prevail. Doves mate for life and symbolize peace, love and unity -- a fitting tribute to the union of Groom and Bride. Today as you have both made a promise to be together as husband and wife, the release of these two doves signifies a commitment as a couple everlasting -- much like the doves that mate for life.

My goal is to help all couples, regardless of their religious affiliation or non-affiliation. I respect all cultures and creeds and deliver a ceremony with dignity and respect, regardless of whether or not I share the same beliefs. Click here for a brief explanation of my beliefs.
